Mantrailing, Scent Detection
Welcome to Hundezentrum Pfalz
Hundezentrum Pfalz has evolved and become more specialised along the way. Our ambition is to do what we do as well as we possibly can. That is why, at Hundezentrum Pfalz and under the name Searchdogs Europe we now focus on just three areas:
- Behaviourist service and one-to-one sessions for dogs and their people
- Search dog training for hobby and operational teams — in mantrailing as well as scent detection — plus our Mantrail Trainer
- course; the deployment of our own professional search dogs in the fields you require, or the training of your own dog in the field of your choice
- we also run seminars on topics related to these areas
Why Hundezentrum Pfalz
With a veterinarian who has decades of experience in dog training and in running an animal shelter, we are well equipped to handle cases with a pathological background in all breeds. Probably unique is the combination with one of Britain’s leading police dog trainers (now retired), who brings decades of experience in every discipline of search dog work and in training apprehension dogs. This allows us to offer both our behaviourist service and search dog training at a solid international level. We are also delighted to be supported by mantrailing trainers we have trained ourselves.
To continue covering general obedience classes, we have been cooperating for some time with the dog school Dialog-Mensch-Tier. Their trainer Miriam Mattern offers these courses in Haßloch, and they occasionally take place on our training ground as well.
Book a course
You will find all our courses and seminars in our booking portal. Please note that bookings are only possible if you provide details of a dog; one-to-one sessions are arranged directly. Current news about courses and meeting points can be found under News.
Fixed telephone hours
By the nature of our work, it is often difficult to answer the phone straight away — and our families and our own dogs would like to spend time with us too. With the enormous rise in demand, this is becoming ever harder. So if you cannot reach us directly, please leave a message on our answering machine or send us a message — we will get back to you as soon as possible. We can be reached by phone Monday to Friday.
For the behaviourist service, a written confirmation of your appointment to info@hundezentrum-pfalz.de is always required. You are welcome to request all other appointments by email as well. As we are often on the road, emails may not always be answered on the same day.
