General Terms and Conditions of Hundezentrum Pfalz (Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn, 67098 Bad Dürkheim, Germany)
As of: 26 July 2026
The following applies to all business events (such as group sessions, one-to-one sessions, seminars, workshops, trips and talks) of Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn and the dog trainers working on her behalf: unless otherwise agreed in writing in individual cases, all seminar, workshop, talk, course, one-to-one and group session contracts as well as trips (hereinafter referred to as „event“) are concluded between the above-mentioned persons and the customers exclusively on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions. Conflicting or deviating conditions only become part of the contract if Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn has acknowledged them in writing. By registering and concluding the contract, the customer agrees to these General Terms and Conditions.
§ 1 Registration and conclusion of contract
- The customer registers for an event in writing, by email, via the booking portal or by post. The registration must be received in good time before the event begins.
- If participation is possible, Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn sends a confirmation of registration containing the description of services for the event. The invoice amount for the respective event can be found in the announcement on the website or in the booking portal and can be confirmed on request. The event contract becomes legally binding upon receipt of the confirmation of registration.
- Where the number of participants is limited, places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received.
- Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn and the persons commissioned by her may decline and reject a registration without giving reasons.
- Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn is entitled to cancel an event for economic reasons. In this case, any participation fees already paid will be refunded in full. There are no further claims.
§ 2 Terms of payment
- After confirmation of acceptance and receipt of the payment details, the full event fee must be transferred to the account stated. Without full payment of the event fee there is no entitlement to participate. By prior arrangement, the event fee can also be paid in cash.
- For events booked well in advance – such as trips or seminars and workshops with guest speakers – half of the amount must be paid after registration; otherwise no firm reservation is made. The remaining amount is due no later than four weeks before the event begins.
§ 3 Cancellation by the participant
- If a booked event cannot be attended at short notice, a suitable substitute participant may be named. If no substitute is named, the following applies:
- Cancellation more than four weeks before the start of the event: handling fee of 10% of the event fee, but at least €25.00.
- Cancellation up to two weeks before the start of the event: 25% of the event fee, but at least €25.00.
- Cancellation within two weeks before the start of the event, non-attendance without cancellation or discontinuation of participation: 100% of the agreed event fee. A refund is then not possible.
- By way of derogation, the following provisions apply to events with guest speakers and to mantrailing seminars:
- more than eight weeks before the start of the event: no charge,
- eight to six weeks before the start of the event: 20% of the participation fee,
- five to three weeks before the start of the event: 50% of the participation fee,
- two weeks or less before the start of the event: the full participation fee.
In the event of cancellation, an administration fee of €10.00 may be charged for the expenses incurred.
- Cancellations or the naming of substitute participants must be notified to Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn or the responsible staff in text form. The date of receipt of the cancellation is decisive for calculating the deadlines.
- Any statutory right of withdrawal for consumers remains unaffected by the above cancellation rules. For details, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
§ 4 Cancellation by the organiser
If the service owed by Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn cannot be provided due to unforeseeable circumstances for which she is not responsible (e.g. the minimum number of participants not being reached or the speaker being unable to attend at short notice due to illness), she is entitled to withdraw from the contract in whole or in part or, at her discretion, to postpone the service for the duration of the impediment. In such cases, participants will be notified immediately. In the event of a cancellation, an attempt will be made to rebook to another date and/or another venue, provided the customer agrees. Otherwise, the fee paid for the cancelled date will be refunded in full; there are no further claims.
§ 5 Copyright and third-party rights
- Passing on and exploiting the content of events, in particular for commercial use and publication, is only permitted with the prior written consent of Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn.
- All event documents as well as publications on the internet are copyright-protected texts and files. The event documents are intended exclusively for personal use. Any reproduction, reprinting, translation or passing on to third parties – including of parts of the documents – is not permitted without the express consent of Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn. The customer is liable for damage resulting from passing on training documents without written authorisation.
§ 6 Individually arranged events
Personal event dates with Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn and the dog trainers commissioned by her can also be booked. In addition to the fee for the respective event, an expense allowance is charged, which varies depending on the location of the event.
§ 7 Liability and obligations to cooperate
Unless essential obligations arising from the contractual relationship are concerned, Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn is liable for herself and her vicarious agents only for damage that is demonstrably based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty within the scope of the contract and that is typical and foreseeable. No liability is accepted for consequential damage resulting from incorrect content of the events or the event documents (with regard to accuracy and completeness). No guarantee is given that the aim of an event will be achieved. Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn has appropriate professional liability insurance. No liability is accepted for damage to or loss of items brought along, unless the damage or loss was caused at least by gross negligence.
The above limitations of liability do not apply in the event of injury to life, body or health or to claims under the German Product Liability Act.
§ 8 Special provisions for events with dogs
- Depending on the type of event, a lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes. Late arrival is at the participant’s expense and does not entitle them to a reduction of the event fee.
- If individual group training courses or one-to-one training appointments are not cancelled at least 48 hours before the start, the scheduled session must be paid in full.
- The customer warrants that the dog brought along is properly vaccinated, officially registered and covered by liability insurance. The relevant documents – such as the vaccination certificate and proof of liability insurance – must be presented on request.
- The customer also warrants that the dog brought along has no contagious diseases.
- The customer undertakes to inform Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn or the persons commissioned to run the event of any chronic illnesses or behavioural problems and of whether a bitch is in season.
- The customer bears sole liability for all actions of the dog brought along. This also includes personal injury and damage to property of third parties and objects.
- Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn and the persons commissioned to run the event do not give binding instructions but suggestions for action. Implementation is the responsibility of the customer. The persons running the event reserve the right to exclude a human-dog team from a course before or during it. In this case, the option of changing to another course will be offered. If no suitable course is available, the event fee paid may be refunded.
- It is expressly pointed out that no success is owed for any event. Success can, however, be supported by consistent and correct application of the event content in everyday situations.
§ 9 Place of performance, place of jurisdiction and applicable law
The place of performance for all services is the respective venue. The language of contract and of the events is German. All business and legal relations between the customer and Ina Ziebler-Eichhorn are governed exclusively by German law. If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, Bad Dürkheim is agreed as the place of jurisdiction; otherwise the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
The customer is obliged to comply with the safety regulations applicable at the respective venue. Where services are provided in and for the name of others, the conditions of the respective contractual partners apply.
§ 10 Severability clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partly invalid, or should these General Terms and Conditions contain a gap, the validity of the remaining provisions and parts of such provisions remains unaffected. The invalid or missing provision shall be replaced by the respective statutory provisions. Side agreements must be made in text form.
